Tofu-Schnickens

After last week's posts about the 90's and vegetarians, I thought what better way to combine the ideas than talking about the Fu-Schnickens and the crazy things you can get get made out of tofu.The Fu-Schnickens were a zany trio of rappers named Chip Fu, Moc Fu and Poc Fu. Add to that their novelty of being some of the fastest rappers around (before Twista took the Guiness Book of Records crown) and endorsement by then rookie basketball sensation Shaquille O'Neal (aka Shaq Fu) and you've got mild mainstream success. Not everyone's favorite, but they made their mark with a select few.
At our Super Bowl party on Sunday we had vegetarian meatballs, which were met with mostly negative reviews. Some people just aren't into mock meat. So, like the Fu-Schnickens there's only a small market for some of the unique tofu creations out there:
